PEANUT BUTTER RICE CRISPY SQUARES | |
BASE: 1 yellow cake mix, any kind 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 egg Mix at low speed and add to ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan for 12 to 15 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees. Then add 3 cups miniature marshmallow on top of base and bake for 2 minutes. Cool. NEXT TOP: 2/3 c. corn syrup light 1/4 c. butter 2 tsp. vanilla 1 (12 oz.) peanut butter chips 2 c. Rice Krispies 2 c. crushed peanuts Melt together corn syrup, butter, vanilla and chips, then add Rice Krispies and peanuts. Pat on top of base and let stand. Chill and cut into squares. |
