TUNA DIVAN | |
3 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. all purpose flour 1 1/2 c. milk 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped broccoli (thawed and drained) 6 1/2 oz. can tuna in water (drained and flaked) 2 tbsp. soft bread crumbs Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Stir in cheese, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Add broccoli and tuna, mixing well. Pour mixture into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover, and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over top; bake uncovered, an additional 5 minutes. Yield: 4 servings. |
