EASY ONE-SKILLET PEPPER STEAK 
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. oil
1 lb. round steak (sliced diagonally into sm. strips)
1 to 2 green peppers, cut into thin strips
Freshly steamed rice

Combine water and cornstarch in small bowl and blend well. Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add meat and brown until no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Push meat to sides of skillet.

Pour cornstarch mixture into center and stir until thickened. Blend in meat. Add green pepper and mix well. Cover and cook until pepper is crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Spoon over rice.
