EASY PEEL HARD-COOKED EGGS | |
Desired amount of eggs to be prepared Large heavy duty saucepan Enough water to cover eggs with extra 1 inch, to keep eggs covered. Place amount of eggs desired in a large saucepan and cover eggs with 1 inch of water. Place saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a slow boil. Cover saucepan and turn completely off. Allow saucepan to sit for 20 minutes without disturbing. Run cooked eggs under cold water until eggs turn cold. Place a normal size paper towel on counter. Cradle one egg in your left hand, then begin tapping egg until complete shell has been cracked. Pinch off the blunt end of the egg. Invert the teaspoon and slip the tip of spoon between the egg white and the membrane until shell falls off. This will get you undamaged eggs to be perfect deviled eggs and anything else where the beauty of an undamaged egg is a must. Submitted by: Josef Davis |
