SWEET POTATO AND APPLE CASSEROLE 
8 med. sweet potatoes, cooked
4 med. apples, cored and cut into rings
1/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. pecans
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground cloves or cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter

When sweet potatoes are cool, peel and cut lengthwise in slices about 1/2 inch thick. In a buttered 2-quart casserole, alternate potatoes, apples, raisins, and brown sugar and seasonings. Cover and bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
