SWEET POTATO AND APPLE CASSEROLE 
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 c. butter (melted)
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 cans (18 oz. each) sweet potatoes (drained & cut into 1/4 inch slices)
1 (20 oz.) can sliced apples

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In small bowl, combine first four ingredients.

In a 1 1/2 quart casserole, alternate layer of sweet potatoes and apple, ending with potatoes. Sprinkle some of the sugar mixture over each layer. Bake 20 minutes or until browned at 400 degrees. 8 servings.
