FUDGEY BROWNIES 
2 sticks butter
4 sqs. unsweetened chocolate
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt 4 squares chocolate on low heat or in microwave. Add butter and mix. Stir in sugar, then eggs, salt and vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts (if using).

Bake in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350°F. To test for doneness insert a toothpick in the center and if it comes out nearly clean, the brownies are done.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
