DIABETIC DESSERT 
2 c. apples, chopped
1 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. liquid sweetener
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. black walnut flavoring

Combine apples, raisins, water, cinnamon, liquid sweetener, butter and nutmeg. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes then cool. Add flour, baking soda, salt, egg, vanilla and black walnut flavoring (or nuts); mix well. Bake in a 9 x 9 inch pan at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
