SWEET POTATO APPLE CASSEROLE 
4 med. sweet potatoes
4 med. apples
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. orange juice
butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
Cinnamon

Wash sweet potatoes and boil until tender. Meanwhile, pare, core and slice the apples. Peel potatoes and cut lengthwise into slices. Place a layer of sliced potatoes in a greased 1-quart casserole dish.

Dot with butter and sprinkle with sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon. Add a layer of apples. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used. Add liquids. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
