POOR DUE, USING RANCH STYLE
BEANS

1 lb hamburger meat (I use 80-20%)
1 (26 oz) can of Ranch Style Beans
1 small sweet onion, chopped
seasoned salt, garlic salt and black pepper, to taste

Brown hamburger with onion and season to your taste. Drain in colander, do not rinse. Put back into your cooking pot. Add the Beans and simmer till beans are heated through.

You may need to add a little water or beef broth to get a good gravy. I like to make some spaghetti (pasta) and pour the mixture over the pasta, With French fries. Or make mashed potatoes and pour the gravy over them.

Poor Due, Using Ranch Style Beans

I found this a little bland. I added two tbsp. tomato paste, 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper, 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes, 1/2 tsp. chili powder and one small can of diced tomatoes to the rest of the ingredients. I also like to add some chopped bell pepper for color and flavor. I simmer for about an hour and I use beef broth for the gravy to keep it from being too dry. Rather then pour over anything I add cooked al-dente macaroni to the pot and allow it to simmer as well for flavor. We fix a large skillet of cornbread as a side for this.

I sent this recipe in for a quick fix for folks on the go or camping ETC. Not to be critiqued for blandness. I too add spices to kick it up a notch. Thank You very much. Bear
