THE MAGIC PICKLE (TURNS DILL
PICKLE INTO SWEET PICKLE)
 
1 qt. Kosher dill pickle; sliced thin
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. pickling spice (tied in cloth)
4 c. sugar

Cut and drain pickle (do not wash). While they are draining put spice and vinegar in clean half gallon or a gallon jar. Add drained pickles and pour sugar over them. DO NOT STIR. Close jar and let set 8 days. Then they are ready to eat.
