SWEET CRISPY DILL PICKLES 
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. mixed pickle spice
1 qt. dill pickles
3 c. white sugar

Tie pickle spice in cloth and put in bottom of quart jar. Slice or chunk pickles into jar, put 3 cups white sugar over pickles. Pour vinegar over sugar. Do not mix. Put lid on jar tightly. Refrigerate for 10 days. Can use same liquid by just adding 1/2 cup cider vinegar; seal for 10 days.
