BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. round steak, cut in strips 1/4 inch thick
Salt and pepper to taste
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 sm. can mushrooms (stems and pieces)
3 tbsp. catsup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. sour cream

Brown meat. In separate pan, cook onion in butter, until glossy. Add flour and stir. Add water, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms. Stir well and pour over meat. Simmer meat until tender. Before serving, stir in sour cream. If desired, to make Poor Man's stroganoff, use hamburger for the meat.
