HOLIDAY SWEET BREAD 
4 c. milk
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 sticks butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 cake of yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
5 egg yolks
5 lbs. flour
Raisins are optional

Combine ingredients in order. Knead until well blended. Allow dough to raise in a warm place for 2 hours. Separate dough into 6 loaves and put into greased bread pans. Allow dough to raise for 2 more hours.

Rub top of loaves with evaporated milk and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. (You can use both top and bottom oven racks - reserve loaves after 15 minutes of baking).
