SPICE 'N CRUMB BANANA BARS 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. (2 sm.) thinly sliced ripe bananas
3/4 c. coconut
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. mace (opt.)
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
1 egg

Heat oven to 350 degrees (325 degrees for glass). Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup. Level off.

In a large mixing bowl combine first 4 ingredients. Mix at low speed until crumbly. Press 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture into ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan. (Reserve 1/2 cup of crumb mixture for topping.)

To remaining crumb mixture add rest of ingredients; beat 1 minute at medium speed, until well blended. Spread over crumb crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown. Cool. Cut into bars. Yield: 3 to 4 dozen bars.
