QUICK BANANA SPICE CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Beat all together at medium speed on mixer until well blended, about two minutes. Bake in 9x13 greased and floured pan about 45 minutes, two layer cake pans about 20 to 25 minutes or cupcakes about 20 minutes.

Can substitute 1 cup of applesauce or 1 cup of cooked pumpkin but add one teaspoon of cinnamon.

FROSTING:

1/2 stick of butter, creamed
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla and enough milk to make the right consistency for spreading
(start with 1/4 cup)

Beat all together until smooth. Spread on cake. Can decorate with colored sprinkles.
