SAUSAGE AND RICE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. loose sausage
1 box Lipton noodle soup mix (2 env.)
1 can water chestnuts, drained & chopped
1 c. rice (not instant), do not cook
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
4 c. water

Brown sausage; drain. Saute green pepper, onion and celery. Mix 4 cups of boiling water with Lipton soup mix in casserole with lid. Add all remaining ingredients to soup mix and stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes covered. Remove cover and bake an additional 20 minutes.
