OVEN SKILLET FRENCH TOAST | |
1 egg, separated 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. dark brown sugar 3 bread slices (your favorite) 1 tbsp. butter Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter an oven-safe skillet (such as an iron skillet). Separate yolk from white. In one bowl put the egg white. In another bowl put the yolk. Add a tablespoon of sugar into the egg whites and stir. Add a tablespoon of cinnamon into the yolk. Spread the egg white mixture and the yolk mixture to the the front and back of each bread slice and place in skillet. Put skillet in oven and bake at 350°F for 3 to 5 minutes on each side (flip bread slices). Makes 3 slices. Submitted by: TaKiyah |
