FRUIT PUDDING DESSERT 
1 tsp. butter
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1 c. boiling water
3 c. fresh fruit or canned (apple, berries, peaches, etc.)

Batter: Melt butter in baking dish or baking pan. Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt and 1/2 cup sugar. Add enough milk to make thin batter. Pour batter into baking dish over melted butter.

Fruit: Sprinkle 1 cup sugar over fruit and pour boiling water over sugar and fruit. Put fruit mixture on top of the batter mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
