![]() 1 (29 oz.) can yams 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup liquid from canned yams 4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla cinnamon Drain yams, dry in 200°F oven on greased cookie sheet for 30 to 60 minutes. Put in greased casserole dish. Bring sugars, liquid from yams to a boil. Boil until it begins to thicken. Add butter and vanilla. Pour over yams, sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. |
