1 qt. string beans
1/2 stick butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 sm. container sour cream
1/2 c. sharp cheddar cheese

Bring green beans to a boil, then boil for 5 minutes. Drain. Melt 1/2 stick of butter. After butter melts, mix flour, sugar, salt and pepper into it and mix well. Add sour cream to the mixture and blend well. Pour string beans into mixture.

Pour into a casserole dish and bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Top with cheese and serve hot.
