“OYSTER STUFFING” IS IN:

OYSTER STUFFING 
For a 10-12 lb turkey.

1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup butter
1 cup oyster liquor and water or chicken broth
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons Bell Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 quarts toasted bread cubes or stuffing
1 1/2 cups chopped drained oysters

Sauté onion and celery in butter until soft. Add combined oyster liquor, parsley, and seasonings.

Stir in bread cubes and oysters. Mix lightly; stuff turkey just before the turkey is being put in the oven to roast. Do not stuff turkey ahead of time.
