6 cups soft bread crumbs 1/2 teaspoon pepper 3/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning 1/4 teaspoon each garlic and onion powder 1 tablespoon chopped parsley 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery 1/4 cup melted butter 1 tablespoon salt 1 egg, beaten 1 onion, grated 1/2 cup boiling water Mix ingredients in order, stirring lightly. Use to stuff turkey or chicken or bake separately in a loaf pan covered with foil for 45 minutes; remove foil and brown at 400°F for 15 minutes. Alternatively, cook along with the roasting turkey. |
