MEATLOAF AND GRAVY 
1 lb. ground beef
1 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. dehydrated onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On a 22 x 24 inch strip of heavy aluminum foil mix beef and onion soup (don't tear foil). Form into loaf and pour undiluted soup over loaf. Wrap loosely in foil. Place on baking sheet. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes. As loaf bakes it makes it's own gravy.

Had my doubts about this recipe, and I did add an egg to my ground beef because the loaf probably would not hold together otherwise. I also mixed a couple tablespoons of the mushroom soup into the meat to moisten it and help form the loaf. Impressive results for minimal effort. Mashed potatoes would be the perfect side for this!
