HUNGARIAN COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
8 oz. sour cream

TOPPING:

6 tbsp. butter
1 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. brown sugar

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla; add eggs and mix well. Add 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda and mix. Fold in sour cream. Mix topping (butter is cut in chips). Put 1/2 batter in ungreased tube pan; then 1/2 topping; repeat. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
