1 c. liquid shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. cinnamon
6 apples, pared and diced

Mix oil, sugar, and eggs into sifted flour, soda, and cinnamon. Batter is stiff. Mix by hand. Beat well. Add apples. Mix. Grease and flour two square or 1 (9x13x2 inch) pan. Pour into pans and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
