1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 c. butter 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 c. flour Combine cream cheese, butter and vanilla in large bowl. With pastry blender cut in flour until dough is thoroughly mixed. Shape into 6 balls, refrigerate for 2 hours. FILLING: 1 lb. walnuts, ground fine 6 tbsp. butter Juice of 1 lemon 6 tbsp. sugar Mix. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out dough like for a pie and cut in 6 pieces. Put filling at the wider part and roll up like a crescent. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. When cold, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Bake in an ungreased cookie sheet. If filling is too thick, add sweet cream. |
