"BIG BOY" STRAWBERRY PIE 
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. hot water
1 c. sugar
Dash salt

Boil 1 minute or until it is thickened and clear. Add 3 tablespoons strawberry Jello and some red food coloring. Cool. Fold in about 1 quart washed, stemmed strawberries. Pour into baked shell. Chill several hours. Serve with whipped cream.

If using frozen berries use juice of drained berries instead of water and add about 1/2 envelope Knox gelatin.
