GLAZED OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cottage cheese, sieved
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. seedless raisins

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in cottage cheese. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients and gradually add to butter-egg mixture. Stir in oats, nuts and raisins. Chill dough for several hours or overnight in refrigerator.

Form dough into 1 inch balls. Dip one side of each ball into granulated sugar, then milk, then sugar again. Arrange sugared side up on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Yields about 6 dozen cookies.
