BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
8 oz. cream cheese
1 unbeaten egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
6 oz. pkg. chocolate bits
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water
1 tbsp. white vinegar

Beat together cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt. Stir in chocolate bits. In another bowl sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Add sugar, cocoa, oil, water, vinegar and vanilla. Mix well. Fill cup cake tins 3/4 with chocolate mixture. Add tablespoon cream cheese mixture to center. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
