1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. hot water

Cream Crisco, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients; blend into creamed mixture. Add hot water. Make into small balls and bake on cookie sheet at 375 degrees.
