NEW ENGLAND BLUEBERRY COFFEE
CAKE
 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. blueberries
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted

TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Fold in blueberries. In a small bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and butter. Add to the flour mixture and stir carefully. Spread into a greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Combine all topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until top is light golden brown. Serve warm.
