NEW ENGLAND BLUEBERRY COFFEE
CAKE
 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. fresh blueberries
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted

TOPPING:

1/4 c. melted butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

In large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Gently fold in blueberries.

In small bowl, whisk together egg, milk, and butter. Add to the flour mixture and stir carefully. Spread into a greased 8x8 inch baking pan.

Mix topping and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve warm. Good with ice cream.
