END OF PAYCHECK CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. beef (ground chuck preferable) 1 lb. macaroni (about 5 cups) 1 can Campbell's tomato soup 1 c. milk 1 tbsp. butter 5 slices cheese 1 tsp. salt Cook beef; drain well. Place in mixing bowl; set aside. Cook macaroni until tender; drain. Add macaroni to beef. Mix in soup, milk, and butter. Add salt, stir mixture well. Cut cheese slices into pieces; add to mixture. Pour mixture in a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish with a cover. Place in preheated oven on 350 degrees. Bake until mixture begins to bubble (about 20 minutes). Remove from oven, stir well; serve. Makes 4 to 5 one cup servings. |
