MIRLITON STICKS FOR SALAD 
3 Mirlitons, peeled & cut into strips about 1/2 inch wide
1 (8 oz.) Italian dressing

Place strips into a pot with salted water, cover. Cook about 10 to 15 minutes. Test, when strips feel crisp. Pour off water, leave one cup water. Add 8 ounce Italian salad dressing. Cover and allow to stand until cool. Place in refrigerator in a closed container. These strips will keep fresh in the refrigerator until ready to use. Serve over cut lettuce and more salad dressing.
