MOTHER'S CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE
CAKE
 
8 oz. butter
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
2 oz. German's sweet chocolate
1 c. water
2 c. flour, sifted
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. almond extract

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter with cocoa, chocolate and water. Bring to a rapid boil. Mix flour and sugar in a large bowl. Add the boiling chocolate mixture and blend. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix thoroughly and pour batter into greased pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
