MOTHER'S FIG CAKE 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. each soda, cinnamon, allspice
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. figs
1 c. pecans

Combine dry ingredients. Set aside. Combine next 6 ingredients. Add dry ingredients slowly and mixing well, add figs and pecans. Pour into a large bundt pan. Bake 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. You may top this cake with your favorite glaze or eat it plain.
