PORK AND CABBAGE ETOUFFEE | |
2 to 3 tbsp. cooking oil 5 to 6 pork chops Salt and pepper to taste 1 head cabbage, cleaned 1 sm. onion Use a 5 qt. Dutch oven Season meat with salt and pepper and brown well in the cooking oil. When meat is almost done add onion and cook until onion is clear. Add about 1/2 cup of water and the chopped cabbage. Stir often until cabbage is golden in color and tender and completely cook, about 1 hour. Serve with rice. |
