OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP BARS 
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 1/2 c. boiling water
3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips

Pour boiling water over oatmeal and cool. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Mix all dry ingredients. Stir into wet mixture. Add oatmeal and mix well. Add chips. Bake in greased jelly roll pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool and frost.

FROSTING:

1 1/3 c. sugar
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. milk

Remove from heat. Add 1 (6 ounce) bag chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Spread on warm bars. 50 or more bars.
