BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

Ketchup and butter is a must to this bologna sandwich. On wheat bread. Oh yummy. With cheese curds and chips on the side.

Only thing I see is that it must have ketchup on it, not mustard :)

I have lived all over the united states and have had bolonga sandwiches a variety of ways. In Mo. we fried it. In chicago we ate it with mustard and chips. In Ohio it was with onions..I could go on and on. When I moved to Wisconsin ( where I still remain!) it of course involved CHEESE!! :) I stopped eating meat 11 years ago and have never craved it ever...until just now reading thru all the diverse ways people prepared bolonga!! I want a fried bolonga sandwich with mustard and potato chips so badly that I am gonna go get the stuff and make one!! :)

For a low carb party snack, take a piece of bologna, spread it with Miracle Whip, and add as many crushed regular Pringles as will fit. Serve on small plates with napkins. AWESOME!!!!

A variation I'd like to share. My mother ate these when she was a kid and introduced us to it. Bologna, Mayonnaise, Creamy Peanut Butter. PB on one side, Mayo one the other, Bologna in the middle. Actually, tastes great!

Here's one a bit less tongue-in-cheek: Melt some butter in a frying pan and toss in some chopped onion. Over medium heat, stir until onions start to caramelize, then add some slices of baloney. Continue sauteing until the baloney starts to brown. Then slather everything with barbecue sauce and heat until sauce starts to bubble and thicken. Put baloney slices onto buttered toasted kaiser rolls or hamburger buns and spoon the sauce and onions over them to build sandwiches as thick as you want. Add a slice or two of cheese (cheddar, colby, or American) if you want and serve with sides of creamy cole slaw and dill pickles. Yum-O! For a beverage, try icy-cold Coke or root beer (A&W or Barq's).

HaHa! Classic! Just goes to show how awesome and versatile the humble bologna can be. I like it ala G&R Tavern in Waldo, OH. 3/4 inch thick slice fried up and served on a white bun (I prefer Wonder bread instead) with a thick slice of Colby, bread and butter chips, and onions. I like the onions carmelized. Slather on mayo or mustard and serve with Jones Marcelled chips and the soda of your choice.
