DEATH BY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
4 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 chocolate cake mix
1 sm. box instant chocolate pudding
12 oz. pkg. semi - sweet chocolate chips

Beat eggs, sour cream, water and oil together in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed and add cake mix and pudding. Beat until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into buttered (butter works best) bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. When cool, sift powdered sugar on top. Makes 1 cake.

I lost this recipe and was looking on the computer for it. There are so many versions of Death by Chocolate Cake, but this is the only one I will make, as I get rave reviews every time. Mmmm, so moist and chocolatey! I even make a vanilla version, using vanilla cake mix, vanilla pudding, and white chocolate chips, It is just as delicious.

Why is everyone so hung up about this Death by Chocolate Cake recipe? Anytime you have a recipe and "chocolate cake mix" is one of the ingredients you have to ask yourself and be honest, is it really from scratch? You can't identify that this is just a modest improvement on a reg. box cake? You can't remember add puding mix and sour cream the next time you want to bake a cake?
