I lost this recipe and was looking on the computer for it. There are so many versions of Death by Chocolate Cake, but this is the only one I will make, as I get rave reviews every time. Mmmm, so moist and chocolatey! I even make a vanilla version, using vanilla cake mix, vanilla pudding, and white chocolate chips, It is just as delicious.

I first got this recipe more than twenty years ago but lost it. I could remember the ingredients but not the amounts. This is the one! Thanks, I always get huge compliments for this cake and it's so easy.

I have my 5th or 6th one in the oven now. I make it for family and friends. There are never any leftovers. And so easy to do.

Anytime you have a recipe and "chocolate cake mix" is one of the ingredients you have to ask yourself and be honest, is it really from scratch? You can't identify that this is just a modest improvement on a reg. box cake? You can't remember add puding mix and sour cream the next time you want to bake a cake?
