1 - 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 3 med. - lg. potatoes 2 med. - lg. onions 1 can mushroom or celery soup Slice potatoes into thick slices; layer one layer in casserole dish, then salt and pepper. Slice onions into thick slices; layer over potatoes in casserole, then salt and pepper. Layer the same again, leaving meat layer on top. Pour can of undiluted soup over complete dish; if extra thick soup, use small amount of water. Bake in oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees, covered. Remove cover and place back into oven until top is slightly brown. |
