ITALIAN SAUCE 
1 chopped onion
1 chopped pepper
1 jar mushrooms
1 lb. hamburger
1/4 lb. Italian sausage
28 oz. Contadina puree
15 oz. Hunts tomato sauce
6 oz. Hunts tomato paste
1 paste can of hot water
1 tbsp. sugar
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Oregano
Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper

Brown in oil, onion, pepper and mushrooms. Add and brown hamburger, sausage, salt and pepper lightly. Drain grease. Add puree, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Add four shakes salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, Italian seasoning. Add 1 paste can of hot water and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Simmer and stir for 2 1/2 hours.
