DUMP PEACH COBBLER | |
2 (16 oz.) cans sliced peaches, drained 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1 1/2 c. flour 1/4 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 egg 1/2 c. milk Grease a 9"x13" pan; place peaches in bottom of pan and sprinkle with nutmeg; sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside. Combine butter, egg and milk. Stir in sifted dry ingredients; mix well. Spoon batter evenly over peaches; bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold with ice cream or whipped cream if desired. |
