CRISPY CRUNCHY CHICKEN | |
1 1/2 to 3 lbs. broiler chicken, cut up 1 1/2 c. crushed potato chips 1/4 c. toasted wheat germ 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. milk Rinse chicken pieces and pat dry with paper towels. In a pie plate mix potato chips, wheat germ, paprika, oregano and pepper. Brush chicken pieces with milk and roll in the crushed chip mixture to coat. Roll the chicken pieces in the chip mixture to coat them evenly. Put the mixture in place. Sprinkle extra chip mixture over the chicken pieces in the baking dish. Arrange chicken pieces skin side up in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until tender. Makes 4 to 5 servings. |
