HOT DOG RELISH 
1 med. cabbage or 4 c. ground up
4 c. ground onion or 3 lbs.
10 green tomatoes or 4 c.
12 green peppers
6 sweet red peppers or 8 c. of green peppers & red peppers

Soak overnight with 1/2 cup salt. In the morning, drain well and add to mixture below. In large pan heat to boiling for 5 minutes: 1 tbsp. celery seed 1 tbsp. turmeric 2 tbsp. mustard seed 4 c. cider vinegar 2 c. water

Boil for 5 minutes. Combine ground vegetables to liquid. Boil 5 minutes and stir to mix. Seal in scalded jars, approximately 10 pints. Important to use red peppers for color.
