AUNT VERDA'S FRUITCAKE COOKIES 
1 lb. mixed candied fruit
1/2 c. flour (plain or self-rising)
Pinch of salt
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can coconut
2 c. pecans, chopped
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Dredge fruit in flour. Add salt, coconut, and nuts. Add milk and mix thoroughly. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 275 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Store cooled cookies in air-tight container about 5 days before serving. Makes 4 dozen.
