QUICHE LORRAINE 
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
1 tbsp. of butter
12 slices of bacon
1/4 lb. shredded Swiss cheese (1 c.)
4 eggs
2 c. heavy cream
1/4 tsp. salt

Fry the 12 slices of bacon, let cool, then crumble into the pie shell. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. While oven is heating shred the Swiss cheese. After cheese is shredded place into pie shell with the bacon.

In medium bowl hand beat the eggs; heavy cream, butter and salt. Pour batter into the pan on top of the Swiss cheese and bacon. Place quiche into the oven; wait 15 minutes and then turn oven to 325 degrees and cook for 40 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and let stand 20 minutes before you serve it.
