1 pkg. yeast 1 c. lukewarm water 2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt Mix dry ingredients. Soften yeast in 1/4 cup water. Add to dry ingredients. Then add remaining 3/4 cup water. Batter should be very sticky. Cover and let rise until double. Punch down and spank 10 times. Put in 12 muffin tins, using fingers. Cover and let rise. Brush with melted butter. Bake at 400 degrees until brown, about 30 minutes. Remove from pan immediately. |
