SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pt. sour cream

TOPPING:

1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. ground nuts
2 tbsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. coconut (optional)

Cream butter, sugar, and eggs one at a time; beat in flour, baking soda, salt, vanilla and sour cream. Pour 1/2 of batter into 13x9 inch pan. Sprinkle 1/2 topping over top. Add remaining batter. Sprinkle rest of topping over top. Cut through batter with knife. Bake at 325 degrees if pan is glass, 350 degrees if pan is metal. Bake for 1 hour.
